2 3/4” Ladder pattern Damascus hunter knife, 53-55hrc tested. Damascus pattern bears a strong resemblance to alligator skin. Scales are from Carob wood which grows in the Mediterranean / Middle East area. The seeds of this tree are made into “Carob chips” among other things which tastes like chocolate. This hardwood has very unique grain and coloration which runs from Ivory through pinks, reds and browns. Knife has copper pins and a dark brown leather sheath.
